This morning, a canoe was nearing us and we challenged them to a race. As we approached the finish line, the other canoe veered our way and we collided! They banged into us and flipped over! That's our version, anyway (tee hee) Pretty funny stuff.

My hubby is nuts. I mentioned to him that I wanted all wood floor because I was tired of having to steam clean the rug all the time because the boys drag in all kinds of dirt. The next thing I know, he went to Costco and got the wood laminate flooring and tore out the carpet in the hallway....there's no turning back now! (even though we have no idea what we are doing!)
Accomplishments!!!
The babies took off their diapers this morning so I let them run around a little butt-nekked and then said hey, let's go use the potty and took them in the bathroom and ELIJAH MADE SHI SHI IN THE POTTY!! First time ever! And on his first try! He's a genius! I'm so proud of him!
Hey, so we raced for fun a few times in the canoe yesterday and so what if we lost the first two, we won TWO teams in the last race : )
I just hope we are not last in the real race...
Now to actually get WORKING on my speech outline, which is what I came on the computer for.
**Terri's still alive...hey guys, maybe she actually
wants to live? She must have some will to live, or she'd be long gone already.

All of us and SpongeBob Squarepants, Universal Studios, Spring Break 2005
Spring Break 2005
Since we were gone forever (9 days!), I will write stuff in bullet form as I remember them and forget diary style, it would last pages and pages.
*I called my cousin Austin his brother Adrian's name for three whole days, no matter how hard I tried to remember to call him Austin! Sorry, cuz
*Circus Circus hotel rooms SUCK....we had no icebox, ironing board, or anything but a TV and phone. Not even free little bottles of lotion! We had to keep refilling the icebuckets to keep the babies' milk cold and overnight it would all melt. Did I mention that we paid $181 the first night because it was getting all sold out when we booked?
*My mother (the buddhist nun) wore white clothes the entire time.
* If you saw any pics of me snowboarding, I would be on my fat butt or falling
*Noa is super duper brave, he rode the scariest rides
*Burger King meal deals at LAX cost 8-9 dollars.
*Isaiah was too scared to ride on the horse on the merry-go-round, so I had to carry him while Elijah rode the horse.
*Knotts Berry Farm is NOT the place to go with toddler twins in tow, since parents have to ride with on almost everything and one of us had to go with the bigger boys-there was no where to hang out with the babies.
* Universal Studios IS the place to go, great playground area for little ones.
* The video camera broke on its way over to the mainland....bummer.
* The Hyatt in LA didn't have our two connecting rooms the first night so they put us in a much fancier TWO bedrooms room, that also had a pull out couch in the living room. They moved us to two regular connecting rooms the next day, and the beds were actually
better in the regular rooms, pillow top beds with SIX down pillows each bed! The most comfortable hotel beds EVER.
* The outlet shopping stop called Barstow in the middle of the drive between Las Vegas and L.A. has become virtually a ghost town, with about 80 percent of the stores closed down and empty! Thankfully, the only stores we really cared about were there (Quiksilver and Billabong)
* Quiksilver has a Spend-50-dollars-and-get-a-10-dollars-off-card sale going on, we got EIGHT cards after three days of shopping! I'll get a free new bikini when the cards come into effect---YIPPEEEEEEE!!!!
*Children will engage in waterplay or go on rides that will get you soaking wet no matter HOW COLD it is.
*There's always someone else to tip...waitress, bellboy, valet, shuttle driver, porter...it never ENDS
* Children will always become hungry after you've returned back to the hotel room
* it's okay to wear the same clothes 2-3 times when on vacation, so what if it smells a little funky!
* If the plane is experiencing turbulence, it is not the best time to be changing a baby's diaper that is full of diarrhea.

gosh I wish this pic wasn't blurry, I love it.

make sure that snow isn't yellow

I don't know what Dad is talking about...shopping is FUN!!!!

After three loooong days of snowboarding, he still has energy for hours of Dance Dance Revolution

This is the one I meant to publish

swing brothers. They actually couldn't ride, they made everyone get off and they closed the ride..someone said that a kid peed in a swing or something

the view from our hotel window...we overlooked the lobby! We could see everyone enjoying their meals and waiting for their cars...strange. Hope they couldn't see inside our rooms that well!

waiting for the big boys to finish a water ride and then we can go home, a park worker asked if we wanted him to take a picture of our family....sure, why not?
