And I only got a dozen hats for the adults, because I thought no one would want them, but they ran out quick and they wore theirs all night and said they'd use it for the beach. Too bad I didn't get more of those...
The kids had face painting. That was a big hit.
Even the twins played the donut on a string game...though you see they didn't really get that you can't use your hands!

It was really late but they stayed up to open all their gifts. They got clothes, toys, books, skateboards, bodyboards, and lots of money.
Then I had to work the next day....zzzZZZZzzz
(and no, I never got around to making those Diego cupcakes. So much for a Martha Stewart party. )
Today was spent at the beach the whole day. I surfed so much that when I came in for the last time and decided to lay down for a while, I ended up falling asleep in what WAS shade. When I woke up, I was black and crispy.
I love days like today. I wish everyday were so peaceful and fun.
Back to work tomorrow again. ugh.
Have a wonderful week : )

You lik-ee our new vanity? THAT started out as a simple request to fix a small area that was waterlogged. I bought an 11 dollar white board to replace the waterlogged area. Hubby took it out and lo and behold, the whole bottom was waterlogged. Thank you, splishy-splashy kids. It was fixable, but seeing as how the flooring guy was coming and the rest of the house needed painting and other work this week, we couldn't let it hold us down so we just got a new one.
I'm really excited about the twins party. Even though no one has actually RSVP'd yet. (and it's for next Saturday)
I hope SOMEONE shows up!
The twins are potty trained! I thought I'd never see the day.
E also "graduated" from physical therapy. *sniff* The Care coordinator, Speech, and Physical Therapist all came for the last appointment and we had donuts for the final day. It was hard because the twins don't understand "this is the last time" and they loved them.
Someone dented hubbys brand new truck. It was bound to happen. He was sitting inside at a parking lot of our second dwelling (Home Depot) when the little old lady opened her door and *bang* right into his truck. She told her husband, looked back and forth deciding what to do. And they simply got out and walked away. He waited for them to come back though, and said he needed their insurance card. So it's going to be taken care of.
Well, time to sand and paint and get frustrated at my lack of progress!
