Not meant for this
I will never, ever be a public speaker. My speech today was the pits. I wouldn't even call it a speech. We weren't supposed to have notes, just say it off the top of our heads. Unfortunately, anytime I am speaking in front of people, whatever I am supposed to say flies out of my brain and leaves me pretty much speechless. I had tons of things to say. But nothing that I had imagined to say actually came out.
I HATE MYSELF ON CAMERA. I swear this camera added 25 pounds too, not just ten. God forbid I am actually THAT FAT.
And we raced a canoe full of tourists today and LOST.
Saturday will be the embarrassments of embarassments, when we take last in the race in front of hundreds of people.
Suffice it to say, today is not a good day.
