Oh yeah I forgot, a lady took pictures of us at the race to put in Maui Weekly, because she liked our shirts : )

And they showed our pics up on the projection screen at church and after, I got so many requests to join, that we ARE going to continue. I'm so happy! I lost 5 pounds too. Not even changing my piggy diet. Just by the extra exercise. The only bad thing is that it is so far away, like, 40 minutes drive! When there is a canoe club just five minutes from my house. So that makes it hard, when gas is $2.74 a gallon. I don't want to join the one by my house because I already started with Kihei and I don't know anyone at this place. Oh well. It'll work out, since summertime we plan on paddling in the morning and then heading to Lahaina to surf the rest of the day, so it won't be so bad. This is gonna be the BEST SUMMER EVER!!!!  ¶ 7:34 AM
