  Elementary Business

Yes, it's an old game, but the boys love it. Remember milkcovers? (also called pogs)
Noa is pretty good at it.

He came home waving money and I was angry with him when I found out it was from selling some of his milkcovers...until he told me he was giving all the money for the victims of Katrina. He has 12 dollars saved now!
When I asked what he was going to do...end up selling all his milkcovers then have nothing to play with?
He replied "No, it doesn't matter, I sold some to them but I'll win them back!"

Comments:
That is so sweet that he wants to donate his money. :) I dont recall these milk covers though. Hmmm...

I hope you have a good day!

A wise (and generous!) business man! LOL. I never got into pogs. How do you win them?

i never played with them however all the boys did and that is definatly a flash back

Good to know he's got it all figured out. LOL.

Tee- there are a variety of ways to play. Their favorite is to "ante up" with 10-20 of their pogs each then they stack them all, with one of the pogs being chosen as the one to uncover. They use a "kini" pog to slap them onto the stack and they scatter, but the winner is the one to flip over the chosen pog. They have a set amount of times you have to flip the chosen pog over, like five times. The winner gets the entire lot.
The old way to play was to just have a small stack and whatever your kini flips over is yours to keep.
anyone else know any variations?

My kids had those--I think they might have been the ones to loose all theirs to quick kids like Noa---in this case it would have been for a very good cause!

Maybe he could win them back, then sell them, win them back, then sell them, with them....hahaha!

I'm glad he's thinking of others in need; especially after his comments on his birthday.

oh my gosh, i remember pogs. we recently cleaned out the garage an found a box of sports cards and stuff. there were pogs in there and the kids thought they were the coolest things. what a flashback!
